SSUNI President Ellen Taylor Writes to New Education Minister to Request a Meeting

“We face a reckoning within our education system, from curriculum to staff pay disputes, but amongst this breadth of challenges, there is an opportunity to deliver the investment and change our schools vitally need to provide students with the best possible experience.”

Today, SSUNI President Ellen Taylor wrote to Minister Paul Givan to welcome him into his new role and to urgently request a meeting with the minister. SSUNI believes that the coming months will be vital in building an education system that delivers for young people, but to do so it is vital that the voices of young people are listened to.
