A new era for secondary students in Northern Ireland.

On Wednesday 12th of August, The Secondary Students’ Union of Northern Ireland launched for the first time. With our website and social media platforms all readied and a Student Executive buzzing to get going, we launched with the release of a video detailing exactly what’s happening with us. Within minutes membership levels increased and continue to do so. We are so proud of how it went and can’t wait to see what the next few weeks brings in terms of new members and voices being heard for the first time in a supported way!

Most exciting of all however is that in our FIRST day we already have a campaign. #TrustourTeachers. Due to COVID-19 and the lockdown it brought, students taking A level and GCSE exams were hit the hardest. Many students have had results unfairly downgraded and we want to change that. Make it fair. Trust our teachers. To sign the petition and find out more go to

and if you haven’t already sign up as a member with us through our website. There are big things coming and we don’t want you to miss out.
