Cut the Content campaign launched!

Following announcements by England, Scotland and Wales on alternative arrangements for exams in 2021, SSUNI is calling on Minister Peter Weir to #CutTheContent for students in Northern Ireland.

Students in Northern Ireland are competing for the same university places and a level playing field is essential - NI students should not be left behind. Students in NI are now the only in the UK without changes to how they’ll be assessed in 2021.

While SSUNI’s preferred option remains the cancellation of 2021 exams, we believe if exams are to go ahead in their inequitable form this year, we must limit the damage by cutting the content for our students.

We cannot have normal exams in a year where nothing else has been normal.
