Minister tells SSUNI of Extra University Places!

Economy Minister, Diane Dodds, in response to a letter from SSUNI has announced an extra 1,232 university places as a consequence of the A level grade fiasco which left many students without university places. The Minister has also confirmed an extra £2.8million in student mental health funding for our secondary a students transferring to third eleven education in the middle of a pandemic.

SSUNI wrote to Minister Dodds calling on extra places to be made available and for extra support to be provided to incoming university students facing unprecedented challenges moving on to university in the middle of as pandemic.
